Happy Anniversary!

Yeesh, it's been a while. A whole year to be exact since I've stopped posting my crap all over the interwebs.

For those of you wondering whether or not I'll ever post anything featured on this blog before this post back on FF or FP, the answer is no. Good day, thanks for stopping by.

And now a moment of silence in mourning of my long dead muses/imagination/creativity centers...

Freaky Flowers

Happy April everyone! Springtime is here and finals is riding up on my ass. So, in recent news, Bones has been recently updated and it's well on its way to completion while I'm having a bit more difficulty with Howl. I'm considering putting the story on an indefinite hiatus until I can gather my thoughts properly for the story to come together in the way I want it. Now, some of you keep asking me for more scenes involving Jade and Lucien, and I understand that I listed the story as a romance but it is merely a factor that aids in Jade's development as a character. The primary focus in the main character, not the main character and her hot love interest. I'm sorry if you became interested in Bones because you thought it would be fluff and smut and all that jazz, but that's not the case. There's more to a girl's life than finding a boyfriend, settling down and making babies; Jade is coming to terms with who she is, her heritage and what in the hell she's going to do with her life. Tough decisions will have to be made, events will begin to happen, things will only get more complicated from here.

Now, the next story in the series is called Crave and its two main protagonists are a Warlock named Astrid and a loup-garou (werewolf) named Prince. This story will be a little more focused on the romance, simply because I'm a mad scientist that wants to experiment and see exactly how well I can write out the dynamics between two people who are human at the core. Since this is part of the Reaper universe with Bones and Howl, we will see old characters as well as new characters, just to keep things interesting. This will not go up until Bones is finished and Howl is near completion....so not for awhile. I'm also thinking about making a new cover, not sure whether or not I should since I'm still looking for a photo that fits.

In regards to my works on Fanfiction, TAS and TCM will be taken down at the end of the month of April. I will not be posting them on a separate webpage or anything like that, they'll be just poof! gone forever, no rewrites or anything. Also, Practical Magick will be taken down as well as my collaborator has disappeared off the face of the planet and despite all the positive feedback, it won't continue, unless of course I feel otherwise and continue the story on my own terms. Push Me, Shove Me has been recently updated and hopefully I'll be able to finish it before the new school year begins.

And Along Came Cupid

Phew, it's a been a long while since I've posted here. Nothing new to report, though the new year is well underway and so is the second semester of school! So far being a double-major isn't so bad, but I figure once I get all the prereqs out of the way I'll be begging for someone to give me a quick and easy death, of that there's no doubt. Push Me, Shove Me was recently updated but I don't think I'm anywhere close to being finished; I'm still working out the details of the plot and how exactly I'm going to go about executing this elaborate scheme my brain came up with. *scratches head and sighs* So much to do, so little time. I reckon the fic won't be finished by the time Christmas rolls around again, with the way my schedule is working out. University is taking up virtually all of my time, but I'm carving out spots where I can write uninterrupted.

In FictionPress news, Bones is proving to be popular: I dunno why. As I mentioned earlier: Bones is not necessarily the Prequel or Sequel to Howl but more or less a companion. I'm working on other books in the 'series' so to speak; if most of you haven't figured it out, the books are divided geographically more than chronologically, events will overlap, characters will cross paths in one way or another. Much like George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Two others I've got planned are Crave and Teeth, whilst I'm working on another possible original and another fanfic. The latter is a crossover between two favorite anime of mine, but the details are slowly coming together. Again, I'm a double-major, university is hectic and the pace only picks up from here. My goal is to finish Push Me, Shove Me before the start of the 2015-2016 school year in the fall, but it's likely it won't happen. Bones, is also nowhere close to being finished and neither is Howl, but they're both getting there.

In more FanFiction news, I've been considering deleting The Artificial Sun and its sequel. In my opinion the both of them pale to the originals that I'd been planning on writing for some time and two of which that are now posted (Howl and Bones, and later to come Crave and Teeth). These originals explore the Reaper world in greater detail and don't take as much nutty creative licenses as I did with the fanfiction. With TAS I wrote willy nilly, wherever my imagination took me despite having an endgame in mind. The logic and rules of this universe is more carefully thought out and just better in my opinion. Well, enough of my rambling.

Leaves Are A'Changin'...

Happy Fall everyone! Though, for most it's not a happy time is it? The school year is well underway and for lots of us that means tests and mountains of homework. As for me, university is proving to be a bit of a load balancing sleep with homework (guess which one I'd rather be doing...) and so far I'm managing to keep up on an update schedule with pre-written chapters and find time to write tidbits here and there but with Mid-Terms drawing perilously close I dare say that updates will more than likely slow down. But at least there's Halloween to look forward to. I'm still debating on whether or not I want someone to Beta my works, I obsessively check each chapter enough to make everything makes sense, going back and cross-referencing to make sure that things line up but four eyes are better than two I suppose. Meh, I'm still debating.

I'm getting a lot of positive feedback from Bones, a lot more reviews than I anticipated for this edited version, but poor Howl is starting to feel neglected. Granted I don't update that one as much since inspiration comes slowly for that.
Halloween is coming up! I enjoy the holiday (the dressing up and free candy bits mostly) and I'm considering a treat for you all, but I'm still brainstorming. Some of my creative juices are being contained by all the practical knowledge college requires you to use. Meh...

For those of you keeping up with my FanFiction account, I'm glad that the readers of the crossover indicated to the left have stuck with it despite my terrible updating schedule. But...seems I've synchronized the story's timeline with that of real life since next up is the Halloween chapter. And I'm not sure if the readers of Practical Magick think Maaji and I are dead, but here's to hoping that we'll manage to pick up our steam.

Up and Coming 'n Stuff

I've gotten various feedback since the first two chapters of Bones were uploaded, which is the third incarnation of a story that I began when I was young and unenlightened. Wolf Bones was the first rewrite and this final revision will hopefully grow on you all as it as already grown on me. Just a side note: I pick and choose the things I leave up to interpretation, mostly so I can shock the hell out of people who guessed wrong later and though I add tones of realism to my fantasy worlds, it is still an ultimately a fantasy and things will end up embellished. Also, keep in mind, I don't have a Beta and I rarely ever let anyone pre-read my stuff, though it would be better for me in the long run if I did...but no matter, mistakes are made and blah blah blah. I think I do quite well for someone who doesn't have a Beta...or anyone to make covers for me. Anyway...I've currently got my hands full with a multitude of projects that have yet to be posted and I'm sure that my collaborator who was working with me on a fanfic has vanished off the face of the planet.

Oh yeah, and I finally settled on a look for Howl. Haven't heard any negative comments so I'm guessing it was well received...or the majority of the handful of you who actually read it don't really care, but meh, whatever floats your boat. I finally updated (I know, took me long enough) and chapter eight is well under way....dunno when it'll be finished yet though, I've become very meticulous about these things...though in the face of college that looms ahead like an ominous cloud, probably not meticulous enough. I know things will the plot seem a little slow going right now, but it'll pick up I promise. Exposition shit is annoying, even for me and I'm the one who has to write it. Enough of my drivel...

P.S. I am taking Beta requests, one who's more well-versed in content rather than grammatical, but both is good too.

More Summer...

Greetings to the few that actually follow this blog...Wolf Bones has been removed and the very improved version Bones has been uploaded...well the first chapter anyway. Updates will still be a little slow, considering the chapters are longer but I won't update until the following chapter is at least halfway finished, that way I can still maintain a little bit of discipline. Now, to clarify, Bones is part of a series of sorts, which includes Howl. Neither is a prequel or a sequel, but more like companions and can be read by themselves. Though, as with any series, cross-referencing will elucidate on certain subjects. I'm still debating on whether or not to upload a few outtakes when I'm finished with both of them, but that'll have to be put on the backburner considering that school is starting in the fall and I'm going to be a very busy bee once I get settled in. I already feel like a busy bee and summer isn't even over yet. Sheesh...

Summer Time!

So, yes, it is officially summer time! Woot woot! Though out here in the desert it's more like 'I wish it was winter again!'. So, an update on exactly what in the hell is going on with me and the dark cavern that is my tortured ADHD noggin. Once again, my left brain has wigged out on me and thus a fresh burst of inspiration for the story that I really wanted to write all along. I've begun to re-write Wolf Bones, a little to my chagrin but speculation remains on whether I should take the story down entirely or leave it up for now and post the new one to compare success? I leave this up to the opinion of the readers, because even though I write mainly so I don't drive myself up the wall (though I get unusual psychological results even when I do attempt to write...usually this results in a couple of days without sleeping) I usually end up doing so. Anyway, the new version of Wolf Bones will be rewritten in the third person (slightly omniscient) but it will still focus on Jade, while also working to fit the story into the same universe as 'Howl', which means the chapters will be longer. For those who don't really check this blog, I'll put some info into an author's note for some clarification, though it would be easier if people just read the blog. Also, I might shorten the title to just 'Bones' and that means creating a new cover. Gah!

I updated again! Yay! I know I know, I must update more often and with me starting work and then university later in the fall I'm not going to have much time to write so I should really get busy. Chapter 17 was a transitional chapter, and I plan to have things speed up a little now that the seemingly small catalyst has happened. I estimate that just like the original un-revised version, PMSM will have roughly forty chapters, give or take. I hope to be at least halfway finished by September, 'cause once school starts, my writing is definitely going to slow down.

Spring Cleaning?

'Sup peeps? Recently I updated 'Wolf Bones' and you're all chomping at the bit. I'm thinking about rewriting it or just taking it down. I rarely rewrite whole stories; I don't like having to do things twice, repetition can be boring as all hell and variety is the spice of life. Needless to say: keep a lookout. I've got a fuckton on my plate at the moment. I've got all these ideas bouncing around in my funny little noggin, and I'm trying to write them all down so I can keep track and perhaps expand on them when I have the chance. My left brain (that's the creative half for you people who skimp on neuroscience) hates me, I swear. And the next chapter of Howl is coming, I know it's slow going but if I wrote it too fast it'd end up too short. Thinking out the details works better for not just me (the writer) but for you guys (the readers)...even though there are only six of you and only two-thirds of my audience actually reads this blog...Don't get mad at me if you're falling behind on what's what.

Meanwhile in FanFiction news....

I updated my Push/Twi crossover a couple weeks ago, and I know it's slow going. I'm turning into a slow, meticulous writer like one George R.R. Martin. Also my collaborator hasn't gotten back to me regarding the next chapter of Practical Magick so I think she's been kidnapped. We might end up taking it down considering our chapters are far too short for us to take this long to update. If they were longer then we'd have an excuse...anyway, we're doing what we can. Between the original fics that I take forever to churn out and then my uncooperative left brain...I need to find a new TV show for inspiration. I'm thinking 'The Tomorrow People', sounds pretty legit.

Happy reading!

February Time!

Greetings, readers! I know I'm a bit behind on updates and really I don't have much of an excuse other than the fact that my imagination doesn't want to cooperate. Especially when it comes to Push Me, Shove Me. I've got ideas for future chapters but I'm talking way future chapters, instead of the transition shit I'm attempting to write now. Things are a bit slow going, but I'm working on it, I promise. Hopefully updates will get more frequent as The Counterfeit Moon comes to an end and speaking of that...

Only two more chapters left! (If the epilogue counts as a chapter...) And then the tales of our favorite Reaper and her vampire come to an end. But not entirely to an end! Howl is the Fictionpress version of The Artificial Sun, more slow-going to build and a bit more of an elaborate weaving where the parameters of the Reaper world are more set in stone. Try looking it up, perhaps you'll like it. Though only four people actually read this blog so...

On another note! Luna Luce has made me a banner for The Artificial Sun and a banner for The Counterfeit Moon. 'Tis not exactly conventional, but I suppose it works. Just click on the link, since the actual photo won't show up.

New Works in the New Year

Recently I've begun to post information about my original works on here and now Howl has been posted on FictionPress.net and Wattpad. I've had this idea nagging at my brain since last summer after reading the entirety of the Game of Thrones series and I know what you're thinking: What in the hell do werewolves have to do with political intrigue and dragons? Well....I have no idea, but it sounded cool at the time. Also I've been juggling with making The Artificial Sun into an original, expanding on the Reaper world and making it far more elaborate. Well, I decided, why the hell not combine all the things?! So...here I am and here this is. Howl sets the stage for the parameters of this world I've created, attempting to combine historical accuracy with supernatural elements, and is the story of a Lycan named Zain. He's the last of his bloodline, taken from his home at the tender age of seven and forcibly put into the service of a ruthless enemy, trained to be a world class assassin. When Azura enters his life, he's in for one hell of an eye-opener.

Wolf Bones, originally titled The Paranormal, is the story of a girl named Jade with a rather...different gift. She can see ghosts. Incredibly intelligent but raised by her abusive alcoholic aunt and treated like a pariah at school, Jade's only goal in life was to get the hell out. Until a new guy transfers into her school (and is immediately popular) then everything goes to shit. Her aunt dies, she has to find a new job and is taken in by a family of werewolves. And why won't Eric's sexy-as-all-hell brother Lucien stop dogging her out?...er, no pun intended. Jade will learn entirely new lessons about her past, her powers and love.

I think that's about it...enough of my ramblings!

Happy New Year

'Tis the year 2014, and most of us are still alive. (Unfortunately 'most of us' includes those people that you desperately want to smack in the face with a brick...you know who you are). The holidays are over and done with: thank the Heavens that we're unscathed. I don't know what it is with people during the holidays but it's like they contract a temporary mental disease that makes them lose all rational thought, common sense and what little intelligence they have. In the new year, I've decided to have this blog encompass all of my works, both original and Fanfiction.

In Fanfiction news: The Counterfeit Moon is very near to completion. Only a handful of chapters to go and I'm still debating on the epilogue or not. Practical Magick is slow going, trust me Maaji and I are working on it, but RL's got her by the ankles and I'm pullin' as hard as I can but...it just ain't giving. Bear with us on that, please. Push Me, Shove Me is slow going as well but I'm working on an update for that too. Chapter 13 is coming, never fear!

May I present my newest piece: Howl. It's an original work that started out as a very very convoluted Fanfic...and then a spark of inspiration came about and changed all of that. If I had gone along with my original plan it would have fizzled out. Howl takes the Reaper world from TAS and TCM and makes it much larger, bigger and far more scarier. At least....I hope it does. I'm still wingin' it.

Happy reading!

Winter Update

Hello all! Christmas is on the way, only five days from now actually and I don't know about you guys but the holidays are always an awkward time of year for me. But onto other things, such as story stuff.

The Counterfeit Moon is coming to a close soon. Only a few chapters are left, including the epilogue (which I might make a little longer than normal chapters). I hope to have more time on my hands between now and the spring, so hopefully more projects will get done. Heh heh heh. And I know that a few of you have been asking me for spin-offs of TCM, such as one involving our favorite psychic and her demon friend, but unfortunately it'll not come to fruition. The story is so AU anyway, writing a story about Nim and Z would have to be posted on FicPress. I have other projects on my plate as well, such as the rewrite of Legionary amongst other things. Now, me and Maaji ask that you bear with us as we know the updates on Practical Magick are slow-going and trust us, we're working on it. She's got a fuckton on her plate and I'm moving...again. We're both a couple of busy bees.

So...I restarted The Dominance of Fate (Domia abr Wyrda if you prefer the elvish title) in the hope of improving on it and making it better, along with better blending the two universes of Twilight and The Inheritance Cycle only to find that...I don't really like it. I ran out of inspiration and I've overall just given up. Usually I'm a trooper when it comes to this sort of thing, but it would end up being half-assed and you all deserve better than that. Which is why I'm taking it down. There'll be other projects, but I don't think this one was meant to be.

A Fall Update

Hello all! I know, it's been a while. Last you heard from me was a bit of news regarding Legionary. The next update is coming soon I promise. Now, the minority of the majority of the ten of you that consistently read what I post have noticed a new work up, called 'Practical Magick'. It's a collab between myself and an author named Maaji Emeree....we haven't updated in three months. And I know that those of you who liked it really wish for us to update. And we've got a crapload on our plates, plus RL has kidnapped Maaji. So bear with us, we're working on it.

The Counterfeit Moon is coming along swimmingly, quite a bit of chapters left. I haven't updated Push Me, Shove Me in a while either so I'm working on that.

Also the Dominance of Fate has been placed on a hiatus for now. It's been a long time coming, my inspiration isn't coming as easy with the story. I still have to hash out some of the plot points and such. I hope to be posting again before Christmas. But at the rate that I'm going being so focused on The Counterfeit Moon and Legionary, it might not happen. So search for new chapters after the New Year. October is looking to be pretty darn hectic, cross your fingers, wish both me and Maaji luck and I will talk to you soon lovelies.

Peace, love, teehee!

New Artwork

So, as you may have noticed, Legionary's sportin' a new look. I like it much better than the last one. I might change it spontaneously based on what I can find. I played around with a texture, considered putting in blood-spattered text but I took the blood-spatter out. So I ended up with this. Chapters five and six are coming, trust me. Bear with me, I'm workin' on 'em. But chapter six is giving me some particularly difficult time translating from mental creativity tank to onscreen document. It's a Jasper chapter, so I want to make sure I get this right or else I'm fucked. Thank God I'm not adding music or I'd be killing myself right about now. So far, Legionary is at a good (infuriating for the select few of you) pace. Trust me, more mind-fuckery and adventure is in store. Hell, I might throw some sex in there if I get enough shouts.

Until next time!

It's Returned!

So, as I've been promising for months now, Legionary is finally reposted...well, the first two rewritten chapters anyway. I plan on updating two chapters at a time, so hold your horses and keep your patience. For those of you who were confused: yes, it is a B/J fic, but I decided to take my time on that particular aspect and each chapter will probably be roughly 5-7 pages long. So I gotta take my time and plan out these details carefully. Also, new cover coming soon. Hopefully I can find someone to make it for me...Until next time.

Peace, love, teehee!

The Completion of TAS and Upcoming Title(s)

Well, The Artificial Sun is officially finished. People keep asking me 'Is that really the end'? Well, of course it's not the end. There's going to be a sequel which means, the best is yet to come. This is/was the exposition, merely the preface/first chapter while the next project I have on my plate will include the finale. Unlike a certain series I know which drags on for f-ing ever. Those of you that read the House of Night understand where I'm coming from. Seriously, talk about overkill.

And for those of you that are impatient for Legionary to begin again, I'm working on it. I plan on updating two chapters at a time this time, and including much more detail and exposition than I had last time rather than including a crapload of nonsense. Hell, I'm thinking about deleting the thing altogether, I don't give a damn how many reviews it got, it was terrible. I might repost it at a later date...but I will not be posting the old version, nor will I offer to send you chapters and whatnot.

And this is the banner for the sequel  to The Artificial Sun, yay! You can tell that I made it myself. It's terrible. Ah, well. I did my best. So, the title is The Counterfeit Moon...duh. I shall be begin posting Friday April 19, 2013. It shall be pretty interesting. Anyway, put me on Author Alert, or don't, whatever. I'm thinking of posting a House of Night fic...but, I'm still working out the kinks. Argh! Too many ideas! Creativity overload!

Er...Surprise?

Well, today just keeps getting more and more interesting. I just found out, about ten minutes ago that I've been nominated for the Non-Canon Awards, for best Suspense/Horror, which is funny because the suspense is decent and I'm nearly-lacking in the horror department. Honestly, I don't know why I was nominated but thank you anyways to the person that did. Here is the banner thingy:

In other news...I made a new cover for the Artificial Sun. I found a better picture of Jasper that I wanted to use. As for Legionary...I'm still working on it.

Legionary to be Rewritten? Le gasp!

I've taken it into consideration more than once, and I've read over the messy pile of shit that is currently, my most popular work. The Prequel is a mess to be frank and I apologize to the lovely girl who wanted to read it and I only managed to give her the first part so far. I'll be honest, writing this thing was a pain in the ass 'cause I put the climax smack dab in the middle instead of build up to it slowly. It was completely disorganized and I'm not one to write without an outline but I find I work better if I go with the flow. In a nutshell: Legionary was a literary disaster and more than once I've considered deleting it and I would have if it wouldn't break the minority of the majority of the twelve of you that actually read the crap I call 'literature'.
So I've already begun to completely rewrite it, it'll contain elements from the original, it will still be a Bella/Jasper romance, with elements of Percy Jackson thrown in there. Also, I've done more research in order to make the story more accurate and a bit more true to traditional mythology instead of making shit up as I went along. Again I say: Legionary was a complete disaster.

In more cheerful(?) news, Push Me, Shove Me has a brand new cover! It's far better than the last one I attempted to make, and this time I used the lovely and delightfully famous Olsen twins.

I think that's it.....so, yeah.

Peace, love, teehee!

Push Me, Shove Me and The Artificial Sun

So, I'm pleased by the response that I've gotten to my newest work of literary art, The Artificial Sun. I'm glad you all liked it, even though most of my ideas are kinda screwed up. But either way, I'm glad you're all enjoying the story. I've taken to posting every Thursday, even though sometimes I'm a little behind on my editing or I forget or I can't find the right song that expresses the chapter, it's events and how the characters are feeling in a nutshell. Linkin Park generally does a good job of it, but you can't have too much of a good thing. By the way, if you or anyone you know makes banners, I'd appreciate one. No joke, I really would. Since all I have are my amateur skills, Gimp 2.0 and online tutorials that vary in quality. Anyhoo...onto other things!

I've started to seriously revise my Push/Twilight crossover, since I first started writing it when I was thirteen and didn't know what the hell I was doing or what a thesis statement was. I'll begin by replacing chapters that are already written with the newest ones that are rewritten. Keep in mind that I don't have a Beta so any mistakes are my own and the ones that my eyes overlooked by mistake. I'm working on a new cover, 'cause that thing that I created is absolutely hideous. I tried I'll admit, but I seriously need help where cover/banner art and graphics are concerned. So, edits being made, don't freak out.

I think that's it, other than the fact that all of you that are reading my Eragon/Twilight fic are anxious for a new chapter, trust me. I'm working on it, so I'll have that up as soon as my inspiration comes back. Christmas is on the way so I may or may not have more time on my hands to write. Happy Holidays!

Peace, love, teehee!

New Works

So, I've finally got up the nerve to post a new FF. The second chapter has already been posted and the third shall be up sometime in the week...that is if I don't forget or get too caught up in school stuff. With Halloween, and later on Thanksgiving coming up I'll be chomping at the bit to study for finals, get my grades up and make sure I don't antagonize my eccentric drama teacher too much (even though we're already at each other's throats). Anyway....The Artificial Sun is one of your typical New Moon fics but with a twist and the slightest bit of angst (even though, I've never really written angst before besides for my one original work). The story is like all of your run-of-the-mill Bella and Jasper bump into each other and so on and so forth, but I've skipped the whole "Ohmigod you're still alive!" "Go fuck yourself, don't tell your family I'm still here." moments and gone on to the whole 'vying for forgiveness' 'mending/making friendships' thing. I've cut out the part where Bella saves Jasper from a demon that feeds on vampire flesh and he witnesses her behead the damn thing so he's instantly curious and sets out to find her, and the story wholly begins when he finds her working at a restaurant/club. They start to talk, he sees that she's entirely different from the Bella they left behind and the ball gets rolling. She's obviously been through trials and Jasper's still trying to come to terms with the guilt he feels for the events that happened three years previously on Bella's birthday. Meanwhile, drama ensues, and events begin to play out. If you wanna know more you'll have to read the story yourself. There should be a link somewhere but in the meantime, enjoy this really crappy cover I made myself:

As you can see Bella is played by the gorgeous Astrid-Berges Frisbey instead of the monotonous Kristen Stewart. If you don't like it, that's fine by me but in TAS Bella is portrayed as a gorgeous demon-hunter and KStew is not gonna cut it for this stint. So...I think that's all I had to say....

Peace, love, teehee!
